- Students serve and learn as important contributing members of interprofessional teams.
- Transition to Clinical Practice will prepare students for their subsequent core clerkships and will reinforce application of the basic sciences in clinical medicine.
- Cross-cutting themes in health justice, health systems science, geriatric medicine, chronic disease prevention and management and mental health will be integrated throughout.
- Longitudinal sessions explore student experiences in the clinical realm and foster professional identity formation.
