Most students in the pre-clinical phase will obtain semester parking permits through USC Transportation. Because clinical training takes place at a variety of sites, students in the clerkship and post-clerkship phases of the curriculum (Years III and IV) usually secure parking on a rotation-by-rotation basis. Short-term parking passes are available for USC lots by coming to the Transportation office in KAM 120 in person.
Parking – Keck Hospital Structure
Parking is available at Keck Hospital Structure for a limited number of students assigned to required clerkships (Surgery, Psychiatry, Neurology, IM-Sub-I and Family Medicine) there. Instructions are sent to the students one week prior to starting at Keck Hospital. Mileage Reimbursement
Students assigned to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for their required Family Medicine, Neurology, Ob/Gyn, Pediatrics or Psychiatry clerkship will be reimbursed for roundtrip mileage.
