University email is considered the official mechanism of communication at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, Department of Medical Education.
Policy Requirement
Official correspondence from the Department of Medical Education to students will be considered to have been delivered if sent to the student’s USC University email account.
Process
Students are expected to read messages sent to their @usc.edu address in a timely manner (within 48 hours). Students are responsible for checking their university email on a regular basis. Failure to read official university and medical school communications sent to students’ official email addresses does not absolve students from knowing and complying with the content of official communications.
